The Rotech Rural Team
Our Key Staff
Managing Director and Founder
Rotech Rural is directed by this highly entrepreneurial and creative founder, who works hard on making Rotech stand out from the pack. Courageous, smart, and an exceptional team motivator, Ron leads his team on an exciting journey of continuous improvement and rapid growth. Continually challenging the industry norms, he’s proven its possible to successfully service the Australian rural fence industry from his rural hometown of Armidale, NSW. He’s developed a highly effective enterprise and built a trusted, high-value brand that’s rapidly becoming the measuring stick for the industry. His innovative designs have already changed the way people fence in Australia.
Nathan brings with him a cool head, an extraordinary ability to problem solve and a ruthless efficiency. His toolkit, gained from years at the frontline of the hardware retail sector, keeps the Rotech machine humming. Nathan joined us in 2011 assisting our sales team in our retail steel division before moving into the warehouse management role. Nathan now heads up our Operations team, and under his capable leadership, everything just seems to happen! He has been a vital driving force in our LEAN implementation, and we have experienced unbelievable gains in efficiency during his tenure. He helps maintain the team’s energy and focuses on implementing company values and goals.
Andrew has recently joined the Rotech Rural sales team to support our growing distributor base in Victoria and South Australia. Andrew brings with him many years of experience in the construction industry and has a great understanding of rural Victoria. His location in Ballarat means he is close to many of our stores and will prove invaluable in providing support both in-store and out in the field. He’s very enthusiastic about getting to know his customers and you will see him rapidly taking our service to the next level in Victoria.

Breanna is the type of person you wish would always answer your call when ringing a supplier. From the first moment her comprehensive knowledge, perceptive questions and highly competent order entry skills make her our Number 1 front-line team member. She will get you “sorted” and on your way in breathtaking speed. Breanna handles our online chat, runs our dispatch program, maintains our performance dashboards, and still finds the time to keeps us all on our toes! She is the “organiser” for the sales team, ensuring your Rotech rep arrives when and where he’s supposed to. All of which means she is an inspirational source of energy and solutions for both the staff and the customers.

Trevor’s 3 years with the company have seen him rapidly develop into highly engaged “Selling Machine”. You cannot speak to Trevor without feeling his energy and passion for the industry leading products he sells. Trevor has been inside more rural stores than you can count—from Bacchus Marsh to Bundaberg. His relentless energy drives him on, and he loves nothing more than helping his clients succeed. Customer Care Team Leader
Greg is another Armidale local, coming from a retail background. His been with Rotech for over 10 years. Customer Care is in Greg’s DNA, and he is hard wired to look after his clients. Greg’s first priority is 100% satisfied customers, so if you’re not happy, he won’t stop till you’re sorted. Needless to say, many of our customers insist on talking to Greg. Greg visits the stores in Northern NSW and the Hunter, but he’s more than happy to help you out wherever you are calling from. Greg is a passionate ambassador for our values, one of which is “creating lifelong brand loyalty through honesty, generosity and genuine value”.
Kerrie is a tireless worker, and despite an endless workload, she never seems to get ruffled. Her calm, polite and happy personality ensures the office is a pleasant place to be. Kerrie has mastered pretty much everything that happens in the office and now manages both our payables and receivables departments. She still manages to do most of our invoicing as well. She does the dreaded job of chasing up the slow payers. If you ever hear from her, she is possibly the politest, but also one of the most persistent debt collectors that ever was!
Stella joined the team at the end of 2018 and has quickly become indispensable. Stella seems to just be there whenever you need a hand. Whether it is updating a data base, cooking up a staff lunch or quickly barcoding some stock for a special order while the courier’s waiting. She is always cheerful, and always busy. We are not sure how we managed before we had Stella on the staff, and do not know how we will cope if she ever chooses to move on.
Rod is the newest member of the Rotech team. He has brought a vital boost to our dispatch capacity helping us meet our customers’ expectations for dispatch times. He’s learning his way around the warehouse and making a great start. He’s also jumping into some accounts training and has a great head for numbers.
